01-7-2008 - Grace update

My mood while writing this blog: cloud nine and so in love

Well , Grace is now 17 days old and is a complete little angel .... she feeds well and sleeps well .....Her siblings love her to bits and George is the very protective big brother and Rose is like a second mum ... Grace has them both wrapped round her little finger already ....

Breastfeeding going really well I ve had to use nipple sheilds as my milk flow is far to fast for such a little baby with a small mouth and Grace can control the flow herself with the sheilds .... once she is a little bigger and stronger I ll wean her off them to bare feed ...

Night times are ok last feed before I go to bed is 1am then she wakes again about 5am then I m up at 7am for the other two to get ready for school and Grace just sleeps in with her daddy for a snuggle ...

I m finding motherhood third time so much easier and alot more relaxed and I hope this will show through with Grace when she is older .... I was relaxed with George and he is one laid back lad and very loving and very helpful little boy ... my older daughter is a flame haired Leo so has a slight temper on her but I love all the same with all my heart ......

My husband has been really supportive and he is loving been a daddy again .

I will have to get back to work later this week as i ve got to get the VAT return done ... but been my own boss I can take Grace in with me I cant argue with myself now can I .......

I m still getting over the birth as it was such a shock to happen so quickly and so painfully ...... If anything that has put me off ever having any more .

But I feel now my family is totally and utterly complete now andI hope next year Darren and I could re new our wedding vows on our 15th Wedding annivesary and have our children by our side if anything to let them know Daddy and I are so in love and will always be husband and wife and a mummy and daddy to them always ......

Right I m waffling now and i ve got to give my Gracie a snuggle before my other two come back from school as I dont get a look in once there here ...
