24-6-2009 - 18 week midwife check

My mood while writing this blog: ok

I just saw my midwife and she felt my tummy and said that my uterus isn't as pronounced as she would expect it to be. She said it was nothing to worry about and then was talking about dates, maybe I am not as far as long as I thought. However I had a dating scan at 7 weeks and a scan at 13 weeks which agreed with my dates. Not sure what to think? She listened to the heartbeat and we heard bub moving around so that's all good. Anyone have any thoughts?

MummyRee l would ask for a scan you should be having one now shortly between 18-22 weeks ..l'm thinking if this is your first pregnancy this may be why your uterus is not as pronounced? either way the early scans are the most accurate on dates ...as some babies are born larger than others as some tend to put on more weight towards the end..
