15-7-2009 - Got a ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog: Feel better for now

So, I called my docs office to see if he would just scan me cause I am stressing. So there is a perfect circular sac with a tiny blob in it. Like tiny. It was not a vaginal so we could not see a flashing heart beating. He said just to early to tell yet. He said I would be 6 weeks and 2 days IF i got pregnant on the 14th day. The average a woman may ovulate. Well, I dont ovulate until like 19 or 20 days in my cycle. SO he thinks I should be fine that I very well could be 5 1/2 weeks or 6 weeks. Either way to early to see anything beating with just a regular old ultrasound machine. I go tomorrow to get my levels drawn and will know them Friday. So for now i am ok. My numbers should be fine at 5 1/2 weeks or so. He said he wants my progesterone at least a 15 when I am around 7-8 weeks. So I will also be scanned at 8 weeks. Actually 2 weeks or so to see where I am. He said he would love to give me a sleeping pill until then so I would just be calm. Lol! My husband said how much is it I will pay whatever! I have to live with her! Cause I am freakin out about every little thing! Well have a good night ladies. I am gonna watch Land of the Lost with my hubby!

That is great news about the ultrasound! It took us a long time to see the heart beat too and to hear it on the doppler machine. When I needed to relax...I would force myself to smile and it always calmed my brain. Keep Smiling :)

I completely understand that feeling! I had an u/s and got to see the HB and I'm still freaking out. Don't think I'll be ok till i start feeling the baby move on a regular basis so I always know its ok... My husband is having to deal with my freakouts too :)

glad to hear everythings going good,i know how u feel about trying to relax,easy to say but so hard to do. great news tho :)
