16-7-2008 - 3 Cm Dilated 80% Effaced!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Excited!

So i went to the doctors yesterday and i FINALLY got checked..(and yes i am now due tomorrow and this was the first time i was checked) I havent had any contractions or any braxton hick pain..although i do get the tightening of the braxton hicks. And when i told her that she said do you you still want me to check you? Obv i do..i wanna know what the heck is going on down there. So she warned me not to be disapointed if my cervix wasnt opened. I didnt expect much progress even if it was so i didnt have my hopes up..to much lol. So she shoved her fingers up..which i didnt not expect to hurt soo friggen bad! And she said yep its open alright..and your about 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced!! I couldnt friggen believe it! She said that the progress for my first pregnancy that is absolutly wonderful. She said hopefully He Will be here withen this week. But if i go a week over due (the 24th of july) i have a ultrasound scheduled for that day. And she said if i want to be i can be induced the next day (friday the 25th!) So by saturday July 26th i should hopefully Be holding

I cannot freaking believe it..after all this time waiting and wondering i fianlly have a day when i know he will be here by..it kinda seems to good to be true..but i know its true! Obv you cant stay pregnant forever.lol I really didnt want to be induced but she said where i am already open and have made progress then it wouldnt be bad at all..Most of the time being induced is when the womans cervix isnt even open and nothing is going on..and that is when its is painful and sucks. Whatever either way..i dont care i want him here with me and ill do whatever it takes at this point! lol
