31-7-2008 - Hospital...

My mood while writing this blog: blah...

Lets see where should I begin...I took little man to his check up and to get his shots last thursday....his doc said everything was fine and that he looked good....once we got home I noticed he was a little warm and that his skin had turned like a purplish color and he was grunting like he had gas .... I started giving him mylicon thinking that he had gas...but later on all of his symtoms got worse...I bought him to the ER and they did all of these test and everything and come to find out he caught the Group B strep while I was pushing him out....and the nurses that delivered him never gave me the anitbiotics that they were suppose to give to keep him from cacthing it....my baby gave me such a scare you guys ...we have to be here for another 5 days while the antibiotics go through his system but im just thankful that he is ok back to his normal self! We have already been here for 5 days and I have not left this hospital besides to get more clothes for me and my lil man!

oh goodness! that is scary. those nurses suck! i would be stuck by my son's side just like u are...i hope everything gets better with ur little papacito. keep me posted lady
