So I was supposed to donate blood today but yesterday I wanted to make sure that I could, that I wasn't pregnant because I really didn't think that I was. I even drank a little on Saturday because I was so sure I wasn't. But just to be sure I went ahead and took a pregnancy test while my husband was in the shower. I sat and watched the lines appear almost immediately and said "Oh my God, I'm pregnant." and my husband was like "Are you sure?" and I almost started crying. My husband doesn't want to tell anyone yet because he says that it would be really hard on us if I miscarried early on and had to tell people. But what am I going to say today when everyone asks me why I backed out of donating blood which I always do like clockwork? I don't know what I'm supposed to say. I guess it's not that bad if a few people know...

Congrats!!!!!!! Yes, I have the cramping to. I would tell that you are expecting! And if something did go wrong (heaven forbid) but wouldnt you want your family to know what is wrong with you. Anyway it is soooo exciting BLESSINGS to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also give blood, can't you just say you have a cold as you're not allowed to give blood even if you have a cold. Big congrats on the BFP! x
