So I woke up expecting morning sickness and there wasn't any! Yay! So far so good. I read somewhrere that sometimes morning sickness is caused by or made worse by your emotions and fears about pregnancy and being a mother.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do for next school year. The baby is comming in September and If I want to stay teaching, then I won't be able to stay home with my baby but if I stay home then I won't be making any money for a while until I can set up the tutoring business. This summer after school is out, I will work in a different school district for summer school and still work at the video store. I guess I can start my business then. The other option is to work with the homeschooling academy. The director said that she would like it if I brought baby with me to work every day. But that is an hour ride there and home four days a week and I'd have to have a newborn in the car with me.
I'm a little nervous about working out at the gym at my husbands work. First of all, when I go in there and there's another guy in there, they're always playing really loud music with the base turned up. I don't know if that is good for baby. It might damage the hearing or hurt the membranes of the heart or something. The other thing I'm worried about is working out later on when the baby is very dependent on my body and quite large. Will working out hurt the baby? What about doing crunches? How long can I continue doing some exercises?
I'm also concerned about insurance. I don't know if I will have insurance and what I will do if I don't. I have several options but I don't know which will be the most cost effective. I don't think I can change insurance while I'm pregnant because it counts as a pre existing condition and won't be covered by the new insurance. I may end up paying for the insurance out of pocket for the two months following the beginning of the new school year when I won't be employed by the school district. But there's only a small window of time where I can sign up for insurance at the video store. So I may have to pay for secondary insurance while I am already insured. Man, what a waste of money!
My pants already fit me tight and I'm only at week 4 I'm hoping I can still wear some of my clothes for a while yet. Although I can't wait until I start showing. I haven't told my boss yet but I may meet with her later to discuss some arrangements for next year if she is willing.
Anyway, I have a lot on my mind! There's a lot to think about.
Does anyone else think this looks like a baby i a dishwasher?...
