Wow! so yesterday I went to the doctor and he did the doplar thing on my belly and my husband and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was so unreal! I almost didn't quite believe that I was really pregnant until the baby was loud and clear. At first Dave was so unresponsive and I was disappointed that he wasn't more excited about the baby's heartbeat but later when we were together alone he was a lot more excited and happy. It really made me start wanting to finish the dry wall in the baby's room. The one thing I'm concerned about with the house is that it is not very well insulated and we often wake up sweating or freezing depending on the change in temperature during the night. I am concerned that the baby will not be adequately covered or may get over heated at night. Anyway, I am very happy and convinced that I'm pregnant now. My mom was happy and excited and my aunt too, but my mother in law was not really thrilled at all and neither was my sister in law. There's already eight grandchildren on my husband's side and they just don't seem to care anymore about babies. My babies are going to be the last on that side until all the grandchildren grow up so it's like everybody's already seen everything and aren't excited anymore. The good thing is that I'm the only one on my side of the family to have children except for my way older cousin who had her son when she was fifteen and so it really wasn't somehting that people in my family were excited about. So at least I'll have one family that is excited for me.

Congrats on hearing the heat beat. It really is an awesome thing. I got to hear my babies heart beat last Friday. It was very exciting! It would be nice to have a home doppler. BUT>>>>>> then I would probably drive myself crazy listening to it all the time. THEN>>>> If I couldn't find it, then It would really drive me crazy. Anyway, have a great weekend.
