I am so pooped! We went to the doctor yesterday and I got weighed, I've only gained five pounds. I am now at 160lb and I am 5'7" tall. No body at the babies r us believed me that I was almost half way through my pregnancy! I guess this is good except when I had the ultrasound the baby was measuring two weeks older than he was. So I went to the babies r us and tried on all the slings and carriers. It is not easy to figure out how they work without a baby so a lady there loaned me her baby and we tried them all on together. He was such a precious little boy, his name was Georgie. I tried on all the boppy pillows too and they seem too flat to support my arm and the baby at the right height since I'm taller than most people. I think I'll just make my own the way I want it.
This past weekend I started taking apart the pink stuff my sister in law gave me and making my own blue stuff for Samuel. I've already stitched the bumper together and sewed it to the batting and I'll be making the bedskirt later this week.
Anyway, I had a dream about the baby and he was so small but normal in every other way. I really felt the baby this morning, not moving but pressing against my abdomen. I guess it's getting more real to us now, Dave remarked in the car that he is getting more excited about being a father. I'm glad, I was worried he would be upset that he didn't have his freedom anymore.
Does anyone else think this looks like a baby i a dishwasher?...
