15-5-2009 - 26 Weeks and so thankful!

My mood while writing this blog: Excited and blessed!

I'm in a such a good mood today! Which I'm happy about because I've been a little ughh lately! I'm 26 weeks today!! Thank you Lord! I'm feeling like I can almost see the end... I know all of you who are with me on bedrest know what I'm talking about. Some days seem to drag on forever. This week went by pretty quickly. If I can make it to 36 weeks, that means only 10 more weeks to go! I can't wait to meet our new little boy! And I hope we have a name for him by then! :) The cutest thing happened yesterday, the baby was kicking a lot so I told Nicholas to come over and feel. Of course as soon as someone else tries to feel, they stop. I told him to say hi to his baby brother. Every time he said, "hi baby brother" he would start kicking! It was so cute. I told him he can hear him and that he loves him. I think since it's me and Nicholas most of the time, he does recognize his voice.

I have my next doctor appointment next Thursday. I'm always eager to go and hear his heartbeat and make sure everything is still going well. I'll go the following week for my glucose test and not sure if I will begin my non stress tests that week as well or not. I'm going to ask my doc when I will start coming in every two weeks. I think the more appointments I have, the quicker it will go! I'll update you next week, at 27 weeks and let you know about the dr. visit! Hope everyone is doing well.... make it great!
