22-5-2009 - 27 weeks & dr. appt.

My mood while writing this blog: Excited!

Wooohooo! 27 weeks today! I'm so excited! I had my dr. appt. yesterday and it went well. My doc was in a much better mood than last time. I was already, had my speech prepared, on how upset I was last time over him wanting to send me out for the u/s... but he comes into the room in a good mood. Says hi to my husband and Nicholas, gives me a hug and says we're almost there. So I decided to save my speech. lol. Baby is measuring right on target and everything is well so far. He just did a routine check up, but from now on, I will be going in every 2 weeks. I feel much better about that, plus I'm hoping this will make the time go by faster. I gained 6 lbs since my last visit... 4 weeks ago. I told them next time I'm taking all my clothes off to get weighed... lol. I will be going for my glucose test this week. I've got my game plan....

Next week- glucose test----week after- doctor visit---- week after- baby shower---- week after- another doctor visit.

I should be 31 weeks before I know it! My in-laws kind of tease me cuz I have that planned and am all excited, but hey, something to look forward each week is awesome! I know everyone on bedrest understands!

I'm getting more and more excited knowing that I don't have to wait too much longer to finally meet our baby boy. I wonder if he will look like our son Nicholas. We are all so anxious to meet him!
