16-5-2009 - First Ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog:
Happy

I am so happy I didn't realise I could ever feel such a happy feeling! Yesterday was perfect! Exactly how I wanted it to be! My doctor is a really nice, funny man i've been to him twice before when I had the Blighted Ovum but this time was great! I was so nervous a million things crossed my mind but when I lay on that table, Pedja sitting where my feet were and doctor started ultrasound everything I feared quickly went away! There was my beautiful baby in clear view heart beat perfect at 167 beats per minute and an extremely low risk of Downs Syndrome!!! My doctor was explaining everything but I was on another planet it was so unreal! I am proud to say that I will be a mother to a little girl!! Yeah I know I said I wanted a boy but nothing matters anymore it's just Pedja, me and our little daughter! I can't believe I am even writing this it is so surreal! She spread her little legs for us and it was as clear as day! haha.... She is amazing and I was off a bit with my due date I am actually 14 weeks and due on the 13th of November!!! Yay! I really couldn't ask for anything more at this point!

Congrats!!!! I wish I could tell you how unbelievably perfect having a little girl is but there just aren't words to describe it. It's like being handed an angel.
