19-6-2009 - Second Ultrasound and quite a surprise!

My mood while writing this blog:
Ecstatic!!!!

Well this morning I had my second ultrasound and what a surprise... doctor was wrong... I'm having a BOY!!! Can you believe it? I mean I was almost certain that a little girl was on the way and now this! I must be honest I always wanted a little boy but when doctor told me at 13.9 weeks that I was having a girl I guess I was slightly dissapointed but later became just as excited! I mean all I want is a healthy baby! Doctor said everything is looking geat, baby is healthy and happy and growing everyday... I am so relieved!!! I have my next ultrasound next month so I will wait to see if it is 100% boy because that is kinda crazy... ok must admit he told me he was not sure the first time but this time he drew lines around the genitals to show me exactly where the penis and testicles are. I am O negative blood type so he said I will need some injection because my blood type is rare but he said it's nothing to worry about so today I got the all clear and am so happy! Well here comes my baby, I am so impatient.... but am nearing 20 weeks meaning I am half way YAY!!!

omg! wow, wot a shock, im going to have a 3d/4d scan soon bcos my lil girl was being awkward n im not convinced shes a girl lol congrats on ur lil boy! xx

I am so happy for you! That happend to me to said first boy then girl then boy again was so confused but they didn't tell me here is the genitial or nothing just it is a boy, girl i waited till the birth before buying any girl or boy stuff. Bought stuff that both can use.

aww hun i am so happy u are getting yr boy xxx ol thats so cool, and i am also the same blood as u u are ok and not at any hight risk as it gets more a risk with the more pregnancies u have, i have to have the full blood screening and i am not looking farward to that day x

lol...the exact same thing happened to me and I am definitely having a boy!! Apparantly little girls detected before 16 weeks like to grow boy parts!! So...congratulations on your little boy!!!
