16-10-2009 - Update on baby

My mood while writing this blog: fine

Ok so here is my update on everything.... Today i'm 36 weeks pregnant and so far i've picked up a whopping 26kgs or 57.32lbs!!!! I am shocked by this as I was such a nice 57kgs before and looked pretty good in a bikini but now I feel disgusting! Apparently I don't look too bad but come on! Can't wait to start loosing weight!

Baby is healthy and locked in head down position. I went to doctor yesterday and everything is looking good, baby weighs 3.2kgs or 7.05lbs so everything is good. I am going to go for natural birth and have finally booked my hospital which is such a relief! I am going to the same hospital that Pedja's mother works as a paediatric sister in. It's private and has the best team in Cape Town apparently so my mind is at ease.

Baby I think is officially named Aleksandar Sasha Cirkovic. We both like Aleksandar and Sasha is a short name of Aleksandar in Eastern Europe so I think this is it! I feel good but tired and the normal back aches are there but nothing serious and I am certain that baby will stay in until 40 weeks so 28 days to go for me. My doctor won't let me be overdue so i'll go in for a scan on the 29th when i'll be almost 38 weeks and he'll decide if I need induction or not but I will go only as far as 40 weeks cause apparently it's not good for the baby to be overdue.

Well other then that I have a pram, bed, carseat and some blankets and clothes... Everything has been presents besides the carseat which we bought so tomorrow we will buy what other stuff we need (mattress, bath etc etc) Getting excited now, less then a month to go wow!
