06-5-2009 - D&C finally done:)

My mood while writing this blog:
Relieved

Well today i finally had the D&C done, what a relief!
I woke up this morning so dam grumpy coz I had the worst sleep worrying about today and I was hungry and desperate for coffee, seriously I dunno how anyone can start there day with no coffee?
So this time I had a lovely bunch of nurses looking after me and one of them could see that I was totally freaking out and she kept me calm.
When i got in the surgery theater they were all really nice and very funny, making lots of jokes to make me laugh to take my mind off the man who was having difficuilty finding a co-operative vain for the drip! they all reminded me of the Drs on Shortland Street (my most fav tv programme on NZtv!) so I was relieved. The surgeon came over to introduce herself to me and sked me if I had any questions, I asked her to please not brake me, I need to have more babies!
when I was awake I had coffee (yuuuessss) and toast brought to me and my man and my daughter came to my room. The nurse told me whenever I felt really to go i could.
So ive been enjoying lying on the couch watching dvds and pigging out on junk food with my favourte magazines while my lovely family look after me:)
Im so glad its all over, took long enough! I have to admit, while driving back home I was a little sad but now I know I can mentally and physically heal now and get ready for that BFP I shall get one day soon:) And it will still make me sad to see pregnant ladies but im sure that will pass soon.
I have to say tho........im really not keen on the pads thing, ewwwww! And im sore and very crampy but all will be good soon:)
