| 02-6-2009 - Ridiculous excuse to eat sugar | My mood while writing this blog:confused |
So here I go again. Complaining about my eatinghabits. Sorry about that, it's just that I am SOOO fed up with myself INHALING all this unnecessary sugar. I just baked a pan of chocolatecakes with lots and lots of chocolatefrosting. Then I ate 6 pieces at once. I know. Crazy! Plus, I ate a whole lot of the frosting when it was still in the bowl. I also know the reason why I ate all this; cause I was hungry, but I am one of those girls who rather BAKE than COOK when I am hungry. And now I think; "well, I am pregnant, so... it's kinda OK to eat like this. I'll work it off after I have had my baby". And I know I will, I had a baby 11 months ago and I lost 22 kg (49 lbs) in 9 months. That was more than I gained! I LOVE to work out, and I still do it. BUT, this is not OK, eating sugar like this. I promised myself that I wouldn't gain as much as I did when pregnant with my son, which was 18 kg (40 lbs). I've gained 4 kg (9 lbs) already, and I am only 10 weeks (tomorrow). I do eat lots of fruit, good food, healthy bread etc etc also, BUT this reveling at night has got to stop! HOOOOW? It was easy talking before I got pregnant again: "uuuh, I will NOT gain too much with my next baby, I will have control then..." Well, I've lost it. The reason I think it's so much easier eating healthy when I am not pregnant is because then I eat more "extreme". Like, only eggwhites for breakfast with green tea & some really healthy bread, and no butter. Lunch; green tea & lots of cheese 10% with healthy bread. Dinner; unpolished rice and chicken & broccoli.
But I cannot eat like this when I am pregnant, it would make me feel like I am dieting and being a BAD MOM! So, instead I eat whatever I feel like.
Am I weird feeling like this about my sugarcravings? Should I do something (any advices how to be healthier now)? Oh, many of you fellow pregnant women probably think I am ridiculous, but I'd really appreciate some comments/advise... I'm confused.
