So yesterday I had my 3 week appointment with my OB-Gyne. She got a strong heartbeat right away and when she was rolling the doppler over my belly, I felt the baby's little delicate kicks. I had felt them all day. Until that point, I didn't feel much and then all of a sudden, most of the day. I asked her to switch the doppler to the video so I can see my baby and in the process I told her I couldnt wait to find out if I was having a boy or girl. She said, " you don't know yet"? Well I have my 5 month 2nd screening on Oct. 12th. where they measure the baby's growth. She told me that well take a look now but their equipment is no where as good as the facility where I will go. The baby looked active. So cute! We saw the belly and the head. She was facing us. Her legs looked long and we saw her little hands. I swear I melted all over again. The doc started to focus between the legs and showed us there was nothing there. She said she really believes it is a girl but all will be confirmed on Oct 12th. I am so happy! My down blood test came back negative. Everything is growing well. Iam truly grateful!
