05-10-2009 - Baby kicking all weekend long

I have not felt this much activity since finding out at 6 weeks there was a beautiful baby growing. I heard some people feel at 4 months and after 4 1/2 months and still no movement, I finally felt the baby kicking. They were so delicate, but intense. I mostly feel the movements at night so Saturday night my honey had his hand n my belly for like 30 minutes. I kept asking him, "did you feel that?" No. That? No. Then finally there was a strong one and he practically jumped for joy. He felt that one alright. I am so grateful I can feel the baby now. It puts to rest my fears that things aren't going well. No need for that doppler now. For those of you who haven't felt yet, just wait, be patient and once it starts, it doesn't stop. I just love this baby! This is a love child with the man of my dreams. I am one blessed girl! My daughter walked in this orning while I was changing and it was so cute, she was like "OMG mom, where did that come from"? I swear the maternity Gap & maternity Old Navy line have such nice clothes. I sure am alot bigger then I look dressed. When I get the 5 month ultrasound and confirm the baby's sex, I will also post more baby bump pics. It's a miracle watching this baby grow inside me. I am so happy I can share this experience with all of you wonderful ladies. CHEERS!

Aww that is so nice you've been able to feel your baby move, I still haven't, even though at times I feel like I did a few times but they are not like back to back they are very much apart movements that is why I think maybe is not the baby.

I remember when I first started feeling my baby move! I was right at 20 weeks, the day before we found out she was a girl. I was so excited, but it took a lil while longer before my fiance' could feel her. Now that I can have her anyday now, its just amazing! I cant wait to meet this beautiful lil person who I have been feeling for months now.
