I had the Fetal Echo test to check Jack's heart valves. The heart specialist came in and right away started the u/s and pin pointed the heart. I got a quick glimpse of Jack's head but right to business. He said the heart is about the size of a quarter right now. He said all 4 valves are there and the vessels are looking good. He said it is too soon to tell if there are any holes in the heart but that by the looks of lil man's heart, it's developing beautifully. I swear I was up half of the night worried about the outcome of this test. I try to live my life today turning things over to God. Putting the fate of our lives in his hands and sometimes I find I falter with the faith in him. Shame on me! God will take care of my baby boy. When the heart specialist was done, he wiped my belly up of the jelly and said he will send a letter to my Dr. telling her all looks good and then he left the room. I sat there with this compulsion to re jelly up the doppler, switch on this high tech 3D-4D u/s machine they had and look at my baby's other parts for a little while at least until I got caught and then asked to leave. :D It's all good, I will be able to have another thourough u/s again at about 28 weeks. I left there feeling awfully grateful and a sense of calmness after hearing Jack's heartbeat and seeing him wiggle around in there. If only for a moment!

I'm so happy for you, that the heartis doing so good. :) I had my u/s for baby jax also yesterday and everything is fine. I was so lucky to get to see him for an hour.. :) Only becasue he was laying in a very ackward position and he is very shy :). I just feel relieved that things look good. I worry so much it drives me crazy. Good luck with everything. Oh yeah and they told me my due dte is more like Feb 28/ march 1st.. But i'm keeping it the same. He might just be big.

Living by the spirit is not always easy. We all falter. I'm glad your app. went well. Nest U/S you should talk to the technician and just ask her if you could see him longer. I doubt she'll sat no. Doesn't hurt to ask. My u/s is coming up on the 10th Tue. I can't wait. God bless you mama.

thats great hun! My sons heart condition wasnt found until after birth, when he couldnt breath right. Hes 6 now and a hand full, heart condition and all!
