| 15-11-2009 - Can\'t see my baby until 28 weeks | My mood while writing this blog:Impatient |
Well, I had my 1 hr. glucose test on Friday the 13th. It wasn't so bad actually, tasted like orange Gatorade only sweeter. As I waited, the dr. came in and asked me how things were. I tld her about this constant pressure above my right rib. She said as long as the pain doesn't start after I eat ( Which could mean gull stones) it is just the uterus putting pressure on the liver also pushing up on my rib. Hmmm. O.K. I tell her I need to see my son on an u/s again as when they told me about the club foot at 19 weeks, I didn't even see it. I wan't to see the severity of it and if it was possible that they made a mis diagnosis. She said well, your going back in for baby measurements at 28 weeks. 3rd trimester! I swear, I didn't even feel that far along until she said in less then a month, I will be in the 3rd. Yippeeeee! I will also be getting my RH negative shot. I am type O negative blood which is a universal blood type, highly needed, however It isn't compatible with many other types. My ex-husband had AB positive and my honey has B positive. To assure my baby won't be born with a blood disorder, I will need to get the shot at 28 weeks and another after birth to protect the next baby if there is a next. When I had both my kids, I was fairly young. 21 and 25 years old. I never eveb considered that there could be any complications. This preganacy has been an emotional roller coaster for me. But the most I feel is grateful and so in love with baby Jack. His room is starting to come together nice. I sometimes just walk in there so I can fantasize about what it will be like once he's really in his crib. I can't wait to meet him! I even feel his kicks above my belly button now. It reassures me that he is in fact growing and very active little guy. Some of you ladies were waiting to give birth and the website has been a mess so I can't waiti to hear the birthing stories.
