18-11-2009 - I get my BabyMoon if only for a weekend!

My mood while writing this blog:
jumping out of my skin excited

So, this weekend my honey and I will be going to the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for a retreat. There will be spa's and seminars and all you can eat buffet's and multiple swimming pools, you get the picture! In a perfect world, a babymoon to Brazil would be sufficient however who can afford that with a baby on the way, not me! Just the rest and relaxation and food food food is exciting me enough. The alone time with my loving man will do us both good too. There has been some tension between us as my problems with my daughter progresses. I am taking the day off work on Friday and we are spending the entire weekend there. I know this weekend will bring us closer as there are so many stresses to expecting a baby not to mention the love making is getting more and more uncomfortable. We are a very active couple and llok forward to our alone time at the end of the day however lately seems it's been difficult for me to find a good position that I can last a long time in. He is by no means a 1-2 Charlie..lol This man is like a Russian racehorse with stamina and endurance. It can be quite uncomfotable on my belly for that period of time or even on top not to mention I certainly don't feel sexy completely naked on top. He thinks so, but I don't. There just seems to be a sexual dilemma. I hope with as much more bigger and less comfortable it will get for me, it doesn't continue to interfer with our love making. Any suggestions??

Well congratulations!!! I'm oh so jealous! I'd LOVVVE a babymoon! I believe that's what I'm asking Santa for Christmas!! lol *fingers crossed that my wish will be granted* I hope you have a FANTASTIC time..really soak the peace and quiet time up... As far as sex goes..whew girl i could ramble on and on about this subject!! lol I still have a fantastic libido! (suprisingly) But, the problem is me getting home so late from work..never having the time..yaddy yaddy yaaa.... Here lately the second problem has been finding a comfortable position as well. It is SO DIFFICULT!! lol I agree with previous posters---any rear entry position seems to be easiest... wether it's spooning, doggy style, or something along those lines. Endurance has been an issue for me.. but with the right words and enough foreplay i can make him finish when need be. lol TMI -- SORRY!! Extended foreplay is helpful in times like these... Hope you have a fantastic get-a-way, and use some of this advice these ladies are throwin' your way!! :)

never heard of a babymoon before ..hmmm..now i want one!! lol. i hope you have a great time! im sure you will and having some time to yourselves will be a great reward :). i know what you mean about uncomfortable love making. im not really uncomfortable but i can bend the way i use to a couple months ago LOL. i have to be a lil more careful. i also dont feel secure naked right now myself. guess its a pregnancy thing even though my man thinks im being silly. but either way. i hope you enjoy yourself and make memories there!! HUGGGS

OMG I can agree food food food lol. But as for the sex me and my bf hardly has sex because I am so not in the mood since I have been pregnant and he do not understand that I am pregnant and us pregnant woman just do not feel up to it sometimes. I am scared to ly on my back because I worry the baby is not getting enough oxygen and maybe if I lay on my bak she will be compressing her UM CORD This scares me so much. as for being on top I feel that by me being in control I will cause my baby UM CORD to wrap around he neck. So when we do has intercourse I ask for it from behind I feel more safe.

mine wont even touch me, he says it freaks him out knowing the baby is there and can move and feel him. Hes a dork!

Oh girl Me and dh are the same way! And some positions are just impossible or not what they used to be! i agree that doggy style puts no pressure on your belly at all and is comfortable to Me. Also what i have found is you lay down on your back and have dh lay across the bed (kinda in a cross position) and put your leg over him and the other one between his legs. i dont know if that makes sense or not! Lol if only i could draw a picture! But it works for Me! Have fun on your lil get away hun! It will be good for you guys to get away from the stress!

Ha ha, I laughed! Cause, your man sounds like mine. I feel bad for my hubby that the sex isn't like it was before. But I'm pregnant and he doesn't know how uncomfortable it can feel. I tell him and he backs off. He understands that this is only temporary. He has to deal w/ it. I'll give him a BJ ( which he loves) if I'm not in the mood. Don't worry about the sex so much. He should understand. Just work on your relationship.

Hi Nina! Your babymoon will be fantastic! How fun! Im actually coming up from Texas in January to babymoon in Michigan at my Dads bed and breakfast! Im also getting a babyshower up there at that time. Exciting!!!! As far as the sex goes.... I havent really had the interference issue YET. But have you tried being on your hands and knees? (doggie style) that way the baby belly doesnt get in the way and you arent putting any pressure on it. As long as you are on the bed then it should be pretty comfortable. Another good one is you laying on your side and bend one leg up and kinda stick your butt out alittle bit. This is another "rear entry" position. hehehehe! I think being on your side would be comfy for you, again, as long as you are on the bed and not getting busy on carpet or wood flooring! LOL hope this helps girl!
