I became 32 weeks pregnant on Thursday. I remember when I was just 6 weeks and having my 1st sonogram and how about when looking in the mirror, only me and God knew I had a lil miracle growing inside me. I thought it would be a lifetime before I ever started to show, feel and fanatsize about bringing my baby home and now it's just 7 short weeks before I get to meet Jack! I had my OB appointment yesterday. They had me on a Fetal Stress machine for 20 minutes which they plan to do each week at my appointments. That's right ladies, every week to see my doctor from here on out! Ugh! Eeek! While on the machine, I had one very large contraction and my doctor checked my cervix which is closed! Through all the contractions I have been having and being 67% effaced at 28 weeks, my cervix is still closed. I am so happy! Maybe I can and will make it to my induction date of February 26th after all. She wants me to go back at 34 weeks for another measurement u/s. I get to see my baby Jack again! Not much more to report at this time. Thanks again so much for the outpour of support and concern. As you all know, it's been almost 12 years ago that I had my last child, I feel like this is my 1st time. Full of questions, concerns, etc. I am so grateful I found this website!

Glad to hear that your cervix is still closed in spite of contractions. I am going to start BPP (ultrasound to check size, baby's well being, amniotic fluid etc) every week from now on so I get to actually see my baby boy. Hope we both make it to week 39 or so. xox Karin

wow, we have a lot in common! I start NST's twice a week this coming Tuesday and will continue until my son is born! Mine is aminly due to my high BP..And its nice to see someone else has a pretty big age gap between their kids, my baby will be 14 1/2 when my son comes!!! Im glad everything is going well for you!!!

AWWW! I am soooo happy and relieved that things are going well for you!! Its great news that your cervix is stilll closed! Little Jack will be here way before you know it!! I cant wait to see pics of him!! Im gleaming I am soooo happy for you!! YAY!!!!! Every week, huh? It makes it so much more real and d day will be here before you can blink! LOL! :)
