| 22-4-2009 - Just need to vent | My mood while writing this blog:aggravated |
I am just tired of the crap that I am puttingm up with constantly. My children think they run the place and can do and say whatever they want and I do mean whatever they want. They have all 3 taken up this thing of yelling at me whenever they want. It is really maddening. My few days short of 7 year old won't get up without a struggle every single morning and that is with going to bed by 8 at night without television and sleeping all night. So, tonight I am trying something different, she will be going to bed by 7:30. My 8 year old is the one that feels the need to yell and scream at me the most. He tells me that he is sick of everything and won't do anything that I tell him to do. He had a tick head embedded in his shoulder and it was taken out on Monday afternoon. The doctor told him to wear a bandage for a couple days to prevent infection. I went to put the bandage on this morning with some antibiotic ointment and he starts yelling that he doesn't want it and trying to get away from me. And then it was time for the bus to come and we had to get out the door (the busstop is down the road) and he goes to looking for something in his room. I told him that we didn't have time for it and he continued looking for it anyways. He found it and said to me with as much attitude he has "Hah, Hah I found it anyways." I took it from him and he of course started crying and screaming some more at me. AHHH! My 3 year old insists on acting just like the both of them, which I think is learned behavior, but something I am majorly trying to stop.
And then I come home from the busstop and the dog has looked for something to chew even though she has a rawhide out in plain view. She really looks for stuff that isn't hers to chew. Most of the time it is some toy of the kids'. I find her under my son's bed chewing on a some sort of piece of wood. I get her out from under the bed and she starts peeing everywhere because she knows she is in trouble. She has never been crated when we have left the house and I hate to do that to her now, but I am just so fed up. After all the crap with the kids', and then to have to clean up little pieces of shredded wooden toy and dog piss up out of the carpet, I am ready to just go crawl back into bed and never come out again.
