03-5-2009 - A little note GoodMy mood while writing this blog:
Good

On Friday we had our ultrasound and found out that we are having a little girl. My husband, youngest son and mother in law went to the appointment with me. My mil was about the only adult person in both of our families that was wanting a boy. My husband hadn't said anything either way, just that he wanted the baby to be healthy. Only after I had announced in the room that I had finally caught sight of her private parts or rather the lack thereof of boy parts. She had her feet right up in her groin area and it took probably 10 minutes of moving around to get her to move her little feet. Funny thing is, I sleep sometimes indian style like she had her feet. Anyways, my husband is a really emotional person and was crying during the ultrasound. He is super excited that he will have a little girl of his own, our oldest daughter is from my first marriage. And he is also so happy that our oldest daugher is ecstatic about finally having a sister. Our oldest son is okay with having another sister, he was hoping for a boy too. But, our youngest son was so set on having a little boy. I thought that he would have a really hard time getting used to the idea of a girl. I asked him what he thought we should name her and he said "a boy". LOL. But, the next day I asked him and he didn't say anything. He is telling people that mommy is having a little sister and he is going to be a big bubby. It is so sweet.
