Well I went to my 36 week appointment and the midwife (my doctor's assistant - FUN) didn't see the point in checking me since "It doesn't really matter and it doesn't indicate when you're going to go into labor anyway". Ugh. Yeah, thank you, I know that. This aint my first rodeo. But still, it's nice to know if your cervix is softening or if you're dilating AT ALL. Oh well. I've decided to assume that I have had no cervical progress at all yet and so we shall begin some natural labor induction. ;)
We started taking a brisk walk around the neighborhood, which we will do nightly. This is what finally sent me into labor with my son at almost 2 weeks overdue. 5 days of hard walking and BAM I was in labor. ;)
I'm also going to start taking 1000mg of evening primrose oil vaginally at bedtime. Couldn't hurt.
Hopefully SOMEONE will check me at my next appointment. So frustrating.
