Garrett is almost 4 months.....I am amazed everyday at what a wonderful gift we've been given!! A year ago today, we finally got our positive pregnancy test!!! We were sooooo excited and scared because what had happened to us in the past. The 10 months of being pregnant was a wonderful experience, even though I probably complained a lot towards the end(between being 50 pounds heavier, multiple trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night, my lovely cankles and overly tired). I loved feeling Garrett kick and punch me!

Now here I sit, the mother of a handsome, wonderful little boy who makes us smile everyday!!! I feel so lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful little family. Craig is an AMAZING father(just as I knew he would be!)!! We've all have seemed to adjusted to our new life....the dogs seem to be ok with Garrett's presents, we try our hardest to make them feel loved and to include them in everything(Craig is better at this than I am). I'd have to say my biggest challenge as a new mom was breastfeeding....I'm pretty convinced we had latch on issues, but we managed through them and now have that down pat!! I really don't remember being overly tired, but my mom came and stayed with us for 2 weeks and I really tried to sleep when he did.

Garrett really is a good boy!! He is happy 95% of the time and the 5% is usually when he is tired and wants to go to sleep!! We've managed to get a good schedule in place which is nice because it makes our days pretty predicable. Craig has had the oppurtunity to stay home with him this summer, which has been wonderful for us all!!!! Garrett laughs, smiles, rolls over from tummy to back, grabs for things and is now starting to put everything in his mouth!!! Everyday it seems as if there is something new he is learning or doing. They grow up so fast....I wish I could pause it every once in a while to catch my breathe and make sure I'm taking it all in.
