05-9-2008 - 30 Week Update

Hello Everyone!

It is has been a really long time since I have updated my site. I can't believe that I only have 10 more weeks to go until I see my little girl. So far my pregancy has been pretty okay.... well until today. Today I went to the doctor's for my 30 week check up and I found out that I gained 9 pounds since my last appointment 2 weeks ago. I am so sad. My doctor is really concerned about ths rapid weight gain. The last time I weighed in, I only gained 1 pound for a total of 18 pounds since the beginning of my pregnancy. Now I am a total of 28 pounds. I guess I am really worried because I am already a thick chic and I know that will increase my chances of preeclampsia. My docotor told me that I am not allowed to eat any fast food or anything fried. Please keep me and my little in your prayers.

That is a sudden weight gain, but don't be too stressed. I guess that's why some doctor's don't weight their patients at all prenatal appts... It causes more unnecessary worries. As long as your blood pressures have been stable, you are in the clear... But for sure, you and Tamia are in my prayers

I am thinking of you, But please dont worry to much, Alot of people put alot of weight on, Just be carefull and make sure you rest now and let others pamper you, x enjoy it, hope everythings ok and 10weeks will fly ive got 11 weeks left,xxxxxxx

I am sorry to hear that. I know what you are going through. I gained 6 pounds in 2 weeks. Its kinda scary when your body does that because you wonder why ya know? but I am sure you will be just fine. You are in my thoughts hon. :o)
