12-3-2009 - 10 weeks 3 days

My mood while writing this blog: Bored

So, I haven't really wrote an update the my pregnancy lately....Alot of other drama, so I thought I'd do one on the baby.

This is the week that I started to lose the baby in November, Actually I think this was the EXACT day I started bleeding last time.

So far, no incident with this pregnancy....As I wrote before, we heard this baby's heartbeat during my ultrasound appointment a while back(165 BPM)....The baby was measuring 7 weeks 1 day, when my LMP was putting my at 9 weeks and some....But I obviously believe the measurments the specialist gave us....So we moved back a couple weeks.

I had been feeling like a house, big and fat....The belly started to pop out around 6 weeks....and up until this week, was quite large...then I woke up a few days ago to find it had gone away....almost completely...I'm was so happy....I knew the belly I had was all bloat....and it got SO uncomfortable at times.....now my tummy is flat as a pancake again, and I'm awaiting the real bump...which if I'm anything like the first time I was pregnant ( my only pregnancy so far to make it past the first trimester) my bump won't be showing up until I'm about 20 weeks....hahaha.

Still trying to locate the heartbeat via at home doppler....to no avail...yet...It's still a bit early...

I have my first appointment on the maternity ward at the hospital in two weeks...on March 25th. I will be 12 weeks 3 days then. The mat ward in our hospital is also where pregnant women go for doctor's visits....and you see a different doctor everytime...like one giant communal practice..It kinda sucks...but I guess then at least you meet all the docs, one of which will deliver your baby at 40 weeks. Not for me though, as I am moving at the end of April to another province...and have to start all over with new docs.

We are off to Florida at the end of this month for 2 weeks, so, I will be getting a much needed break from reality. :)
