| 23-4-2009 - Surgery Update |  My mood while writing this blog:Hungry...lol |
Just thought I'd write an update on my arm.
On Sunday I took out my I.V. and started oral antibiotics instead. It was a relief to get at least one arm back. LOL
Today I got my cast off and the dressings changed on my incision site. I'm definately gonna have a Frankensteinesque scar...oh well. A reminder of my strength I suppose.
It's so weird to have the cast off now and be able to kind of move my arm. I can honestly say now I don't think I'll ever get back full use of my arm....I can already feel some definate limitation in mobilty.
I get my monster huge stitches out on Monday...hooray...(I'll try and remember to take pics before he starts taking them out...just for all you curious sickos like me..haha) Then I won't have my arm wrapped anymore....It gets annoying to have to saran wrap my arm everytime I need to shower...LOL.
