02-9-2009 - C-Section consult

My mood while writing this blog:
Pretty excited

So...this Friday I will be 37 weeks...woot!

I also have an appt with one of the only two doctors in my town that does C-Sections.

Because of the position of the baby they are sending me for a consultation for a C-Section...not really too sure what that will entail, but I'm assuming he will just go over the basics...and ask me questions.

I have one final ultrasound in a week and a half to check the baby's position one last time...and if she hasn't budged...which they are not expecting due to her being in the same position for the last 8 months and her bum being completely engaged in my pelvis(ouch btw)...I will most likely be having a C-section in week 38.

I keep hoping by some miracle she does turn b/c I really don't want to have a C-Section b/c I'm scared of not being able to be as mobile as I'd like once the baby is here and is demanding my attention. I will do an update blog on the weekend and let you all know how the consultation went.

Best of luck to you! I hope she'll turn so you don't have to go through scheduling and the C-section itself. There are some yoga poses that you can try to "force" missy to change her direction. Keep us posted!

Good luck! We can hope for you that she'll turn :) I don't blame you, I wouldn't want a c-section either but I guess what ever is best for you and her both.
