Today my husband is taking me away for the weekend to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. He has us staying in a very nice hotel (complete with a king size bed and oversized 2 person shower for my big belly)! I am really looking forward to it. We have both been working so hard to get the house ready for little Owen that we need some time away to lay around. We plan to watch movies and snuggle all weekend. Hopefully I can muster up the energy to give him some extra lovin'. ; )
Also, he bought a belly painting kit and a belly casting kit for us to play with. I think this will be so much fun! I haven't wanted to take any pictures of my belly without a shirt over it because of the bruises where I have to do my injections, but with some paint over it I'm all for it! Also, the casting thing looks neat and we've got a good idea of how to decorate it. Hopefully it will turn out good enough to hang in the nursery.
Enjoy your weekend ladies! Some of us are getting very close and I can't wait to hear these birth stories. I woke up last night with a big cramp in my belly and got a little freaked out, but it turned out to just be gas! Can't imagine what real labor is going to feel like, but I'd like him to stay in at least until the 9th so I'll be full term.
