05-7-2008 - NST after NST!!! OKMy mood while writing this blog:
OK

I mean really, I know the importance of having the NST done because I am diabetic, but do I really need to have this done twice a week??? Before was saying that I would only need it done once a week until the baby was born and then he switched it to two when my BP seemed to start going up. My BP was high at his office because he scares the hell out of me every time I go always giving me the worst case scenario due to being diabetic!!! That would make anyone's BP go when you go to the doc. if you know that with the good news he is also going to tell you something bad. My BP is never high any other time, but at his office it was 150/102!!! Then I had to go over to get the NST done and it had went back to normal!!! Now everytime I go get the NST done they are like, "Is your BP always this low...why are you having them done twice a week again???" It is just a little annoying and costly to have to go through that twice a week if it is not necessary. I also have to drive 1.5 hours just to get there for a 20-25 minute test that I don't seem to need more than once a week (maybe that frustrates me the most with the price of gas)!!! Oh well, I needed to vent, but I would do anything I had to do for the health of my baby, but this time I really think the doc. is being excessive and having me take an extra test per week that I don't really need!!!
