08-4-2008 - 34 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: stressed

Only 6 weeks to go! Everyone keeps telling me how not big I am getting. I feel like putting this basketball on their stomache and letting them carry it for a while. Just because I have not gained 40 pounds all over my body does not mean this baby weighs any less on my back. The only person who does not agree is my Grandmother who tells me and everyone she knows that I am as big as a house! The other day she told me that I am not growing out anymore but wide instead. I don't think she thinks sometimes before she speaks because that was smack down the middle of my baby shower that she made that announcement.

I washed all of the babies things last night. It took quite a few loads to get it all done, but I did it during the middle of the KU Game. Being in Kansas we are huge KU fans and it an exciting game. I can't believe the baby will be born the same year that KU won the national championship! How exciting, and easy to remember.

I am going to the doctor this afternoon. I hope all is well. She hasn't checked me for dialation yet, so I don't know if she will do it this week or not. I wish we could have another ultrasound, we have only had 2 so far and the last one was at about 20 weeks so its been awhile since I have seen my little man. I don't think we are scheduled for one though.
