01-7-2010 - POPPY 18MTHS UPDATE

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Well Poppy is 18 months old now nearly 19 months!! were has the time gone?!

Shes doing great and im loving every minute of been a mum, shes my gorgeous little princess!!

Shes running all over the place now which is resulting in lots of bruises and scraped knees, shes keeping me in good shape though having to chase her everywhere!

Her talking is brilliant now and she is learning new words everyday she now says, mama,dada,nanna, grandad, hiya, byebye, car, cat, Debbie, kasha, ashley, eat, chair, sit, bath, duckducks, upsydaisy, timmy, tea and more!

her most recent words are weewee! poopoo! and 'Dont touch' which sounds very funny and cute, she mostly says it when im trying to brush her teeth or strap her in her pram! little madam!

shes very tall for her age most people think shes 2 or over as she seems so long!

she has lots of curly blonde hair and the most gorgeous big blue eyes! never thought id have a blonde hair blue eyed daughter with me been so dark!

im thinking of starting potty training properly next week, so any tips on how to start etc would be great! she does have a potty and iv tried a few times but she just thinks its a toy! although she knows what 'weewee and poopoo' mean.

her eating is slowly getting better! before she would not try any fruit at all but shes starting to like oranges, apples and stawberrys although she still just sucks the juice and spits the rest out! and shes still addicted to yoghurts!

and as for me im doing ok! pelivs is still the same in alot of pain but learnt to just put up with it now! theyve advised me not to have anymore children until poppy is at least 5 because it is so damaged so i guess im in for a long wait to give poppy a brother or sister! me and ashley are great too we have been together 7 years now and are stronger then ever! love my little family lots!
