23-8-2008 - Painful Pregnancy

My mood while writing this blog: irratable!!

Well just thought id write an update seen as though im off work in bed in pain!!

lastnight i really thought i was in labour! after leaving work i suddenly started getting these sharp, throbbing pains at the bottom of my belly, back and legs. i was bent over in pain and couldnt walk properly!! i put it down to sciatic nerve pain as thats what the midwife said my leg pains was last monday..but it started to feel really different and by 9pm my belly kept going really tight then relaxing?!....i decided to get a bath and see if the pain eased which it did for a while then came back worse!

we went to bed and decided to wait until the morning as it was bearable when sat down..its now 8:20am and im still the same,had to ring in sick at work and just going to spent the day in bed relaxing my belly, legs and back are killing whick is worrying but baby is still moving around lots and lots!! people keep telling my bump is so low and is it ok which keeps making me think im going to go into premature labour?!?! :(

Im ok sat down but my job as a hairdresser im on my feet for 8 hours a day so theres noway i could have worked today!! if its not eased by tea time im going straight to hospital....

so apart from that im feeling ok! lol..apart from the usual....

heartburn....spotty face STILL....greasy hair....tiredness

Baby is so active it kicked ashley around 6 times this morning before he had to go to work!! babys most active around 8am, 12pm, 9pm and 4am!! waking me up at 4am everyday!! but i dont mind its the best feeling ever!!

Ashleys still been amazing, been the perfect fiance and daddy ever already! lol! were so excited!

had my baby shower which you can see in the pics! wasnt traditional as there not common in england at all, more like a big garden party!! plenty of booze (none for me!) presents, music and drunken dancing!! lasted until 4am!!!! got some lovely gifts, really greatful for them. just waiting for the big stuff!

mum and dad buying the pram, ashleys mum buying the bedding, bath, highchair, ashs dad buying cot , friends buying moses basket and stand!! so really greatful to them.

one more thing when i was at midwifes on monday she listened to the heartbeat and baby had hiccups!! then it kicked her away haha!!

well seem to be going on forever so ill get going and write again soon hope ur all well and excited.... :) :)
