03-9-2008 - S.P.D update

My mood while writing this blog: Relieved

So i had an appointment at the doctors..

As all weekend i was trying to get intouch with a midwife, still in so much pain feeling like someone is constantly kicking me between the legs and my hips feel like there crushing together..cant even walk properly..

told my doctor this and he said its definetly Symphysis Pubis Disfunction, gave me another sick note and FINALLY referred me to PHYSIO!!

Went to the physio place yesterday to give them my form and the lady said it might help a little and i will be given a support band to hold my pelvis..

Have been so worried as my mum new a girl who had it who ended up in bed for the last 3 months and had to use crutches!! so that upset me but i suppose everyone is different just depends how severe it gets..

Iv read on the internet that i might have to give birth on all fours and they advise anyone with SPD not to have an epidural....hmmm great! ha.

So apart from that im feeling ok! baby has slowed down his/her kicks and now its like big strong movements were my belly looks like theres an alien in there trying to escape!! I could sit there for hours just staring at my belly moving, i cant actually believe theres a baby in there and if he or she came out now it could survive! i think its amazing!

Ashley has still been great, even more so now i cant move properly and he knows im in pain, he came in the other day with a big bunch of flowers and i sloppy i love you card! bless him..

Have my 28 week midwife appointment on monday and physio is tuesday so ill let you know how it all goes.. hope ur all ok and looking after those beautiful bumps!!
