06-10-2008 - 32 weeks and a suprise scan!

My mood while writing this blog: shocked!

Had my 32 weeks + 4 days check up today!!

firstly blood pressure was 100/50 she said this was quite low but better then it been high.

Babies heartbeat was good and very strong! my nanna came with me as Ashley and my mum was at work she couldnt believe how strong the heartbeat was!

The baby is also no longer breech! yey! she took my hands and let me feel the shape of his/her head! was the the strangest feeling ever!

But then she measured me and said i was measuring around 34-35 weeks!! was a little worried at first as at 28 weeks i was measuring fine! so she sent me for a scan at the main hospital in town.

Rang ashley but he couldnt get away from work and was working far away! so was abit upset he couldnt come too! but got there and was seen straight away. Firstly saw babys head and he/she had its hands in its face like on our 20 week scan! she said it must be camera shy as she tried to move its hands but he/she put them up more and turned its head away! haha. then she said im maybe measuring around 33 weeks and its legs are stretched right out and look long and really strong so that could be why the midwife thought 35 weeks!

I tried to get a sneak peak between babys legs to see if i could make anything out! but i couldnt! i dont want to know but just got a bit of an urge to see boy or girl! cant believe iv lasted this long! only 8 weeks (or if the measurements are right alot sooner!) until we find out and meet our baby boy or girl!

Everything is getting to me now lastnight i cried my eyes out 3 times for know reason and i feel quite low but i dont know why?! my spd is getting worse and im finding it so painful to move at all. the midwife gave me another number to ring too incase i need to ring for support and told me more things i can do to help the pain. sleeping is the worsed for it it hurts so much!

Baby is so active! although now its like big long movements other then kicks, but when it is kicks there huge! and hurt abit too! but i dont mind! keep them coming baby!

Started painting the nursery! better get moving if baby might be early! were also trying to move before baby gets here too so that has been hectic!!
