| 23-10-2008 - 35 WEEKS!! | My mood while writing this blog:Excited!! |
Well i cant believe i have finally reached 35 weeks!! it only seems like a a month ago that i did that test and went for that scan at 8 weeks 5 days....and now here i am with nearly a full term baby in my belly who is just about ready to escape!
Baby is so strong and big now, my belly does some crazy shapes and he/she loves to push on its feet and stick its bum out at the same time, he/she always seems to wake up straight after iv eaten (greedy baby!) then gets the hiccups alot!
im so ready to meet my baby now and im dying to know what baby looks like, me and ashley both had tons of black hair when we were born so im thinking its going to be a hairy baby! haha, i would be shocked if it came out bald!
i had my 34 week check up on monday and everything seemed fine, just im getting extremely tired and have alot of fluid in my hands and legs.
iv put on around 34lbs which im not too bothered about and still dont have any stretch marks but still have 5 weeks to go to grow alot more and get them which i really dont want to happen!!
two women came around yesterday from a symphisis pubis disorder (SPD) group my midwife had told them to visit me, and they where really nice and helpful, i get a bright red pillow case what i put on a pillow and take to hosp when im in labour and that instantly tells them i have SPD so they no ill be in alot of pain and to be careful with my pelvis and positions..also they will bring me a gym ball to gently bounce on?! and i can hire a tens machine. they said anyone with SPD is still totally capable of having a natural birth and dont always need a c-section, phew! was relieved about that as i want as natural as i can take!
Pain has been getting alot worse, i cant describe it but anyone with SPD will know what im talking about iv never felt constant pain this bad before, i couldnt getting into the car properly the other day and just wanted to cry, i also go down the stairs on my bum when its to bad, and i walk like a penguin! The women said it doesnt go after baby is here but should gradually start to ease and get better..
Also we move into our new house saturday!! im so excited!! so this week has been hectic but really looking forward to getting settled and washing all babys clothes! we went to york on sunday shopping and finally ordered babys furniture! it says it should take 14 days to arrive! i hope! but if baby decides to make an early arrival he/she wouldnt be in nursery for a long time anyway so its ok if its late, and we went in the huge mamas n papas store and bought baby some christmas presents already!
I think i have babys names finally sorted too....
Poppy-Rae for a girl
Bailey-George for a boy
Well hope you are all doing well and not long now!! x x
How old do I look?...
Due today! this was taken yesterday what do you think boy or girl??...
