18-11-2008 - Baby should be here within the week doctor said!

My mood while writing this blog: Sooooo excited!!

I had my 38 week 5 day check up today!

All the normal things fne, he then checked where the baby was and how low he said baby was very low and very engaged!! and that baby should be here within the week!!

I hope hes right! i knew the baby was very low because i can hardly walk but the crutches are helping when i have to go out!

Im soooooooooooooo excited!!

I cant believe that within a week i could be a mum, i cant stop thinking about what baby is! im still hinking boy my dad does too, Ashley and my mum think girl! im really not bothered im just dying to know, i think my names are sorted BAILEY-GEORGE For boy........POPPY-RAE or KEAHNA-RAE For girl......

Well im hoping the next time i write a blog i will be a mummy! :) you never know though after doctor saying that baby will probably decide to stay in there alot longer! tut!

Also i told my doctor about me not having a birth plan and he said go to the midwife bit and ask to see someone straight away so i did and i saw a midwife, she told me they dont do birth plans anymore! what! but if there was anything important i wanted to know i should ask her then and write it on the back of my note, she obviously saw y crutches and asked me about the SPD she said i would be best giving birth on my side or on all fours because of the pain with SPD. i wanted a water birth but she said it may be difficult getting in and out of the pool because of my pelvis but we will see! and that the baby should be delivered straight onto me because i want to breast feed. so theres my birth plan sorted!
