29-4-2008 - My Due Date is Approaching

My mood while writing this blog: anxious

I can finally say that my due date is right around the corner only 3 more weeks of inpatiently waiting. To be honest I can't wait for this pregnancy to be over, I love my babies to death but I do not enjoy being pregnant. I'm not the happy pregnant girl, I hate to admit but I think i'm more like the bitchy kind...It still seems like an eternity til i'm due and i'm hoping and praying that this baby comes earlier than May 19th. At least 2 weeks earlier wouldn't be so bad. Since i'm 37 weeks today, he's already considered FULLTERM so that's a relief! If it's true what the textbook says he should be atleast 6.5 lbs. and be able to breathe well enough on his own. I'm so anxious to meet him I think I can't wait any longer.

My appointments are weekly now and they're going to check my cervix for the first time this Thursday. I hope i'm atleast a little effaced since my mucous plug has been coming out in pieces for a while now.Anyone else have their mucous plug come out little by little? How long afterwards did you go into labor? If anyone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated... my first was born by ceserean and I never went through that process before.My first was breech.
