25-8-2009 - 38 week appt!!

My mood while writing this blog: Happy and nervous..

This morning was my 38 week appt, I had to see another doctor since mine wasn't in today!!

I lost some weight, which I think was water weight because it has cooled down here some. My blood pressure was a little high 140/80 but that is kinda normal for me, nothing in my urine. Nathaniel's heartate was perfect. He never measured me but also I forgot to ask.

Nothing has changed since last week I am still 50% effaced, baby is at -1 and still 2 cm. I am however getting some contractions since I was at the doctors office, must be those nasty braxton hicks.

So now I am just waiting for the big day my next appt is for September 3 and I have a feeling that will be my last appt! I have never went past my due date before, so that mean that I had both my little guys about 1 week 6 days from now so here is to hoping. I am just glad I have made it this far, but I have heard of many stories about preterm labour and these woman go past their due date and need to be induced. I think my body is preparing now though so I don't think I will need to be induced.
