| 07-10-2009 - 6 week PP checkup | My mood while writing this blog:Great! |
I had my 6 week check up today, well more like 5 1/2 weeks it has been since I gave birth.
My blood presure is fine I lost 30 pounds I have at least 15 more to go to get where I like to be. She checked me and said my uterus is where it should be!! she said I have good support doesn't even look like I had three children, so I am really happy with that I thought for sure something was wrong because I felt like for a while something was falling out, well I found out why I felt like that and it was my bladder, it is sitting a bit lower then usual, but should return to its position really soon. So I will keep an eye out for that it tends to run in my family.
I told her that I am breastfeeding 100% and I got my period at 4 weeks pp right on time. two last periods last year before I was pregant was Oct 27th 2008 then Dec 3rd 2008 which is the latest it had ever been then I got pregnant that month, now my cycle is Sept 27 2009 just like I never missed a thing. She laughed and said that isn't un-common, and she said that is why they warn about getting pregnant right away. I am REALLY fertile, lol. So we also talked about birth control, I am thinking of getting the IUD because it has no side affects for breastfeeding Nate and is about 99% effective, and I continue to get my cycles on time so when we decide it is time to try again we can have it removed.
We would like to wait a few years to complete our family for now we are going to focus on our 3 boys. So when the time is here I hope some of you would like to be apart of our journey. until then I look forward to staying in contact and reading blogs, etc...
Thank you all for the support and congrats to everyone who has had their little ones.
