| 20-6-2008 - Almost There | My mood while writing this blog:Neutral |
I have been given the next 1 to 2 weeks off work due to illness. Although I am still sick (and sick of being sick) I feel the sickness is easing during the middle of the day and then I hit a swift decline come early afternoon & all night. Still vomiting and all day nausea. My GP sent me to the hospital for IV fluids on Monday due to dehydration. I was left to sit in the over crowded waiting room for around 5 hours before having blood drawn from my hand (ouch!) and given a shot of maxalon. I have been prescribed Stemetil suppositries but no convinced it gives great relief. Gee, I cannot wait to feel NORMAL again. I am putting on rapid weight despite not being able to eat very much at all. I have no cravings and feel frustrated and depressed at the moment. I am booking into the hospital next Friday and declined the Nuclear Translucency Screening test as if my baby was born with Down Syndrome I would keep it no matter what. Not sure what other abnormalities the screening tests for?? I hired a doppler so my other children can listen to the baby's heartbeat but we haven't been successful with finding it yet - maybe it still isn't strong enough! Trimester one is almost over and boy has it been a very looooooong past 7 weeks.
