| 13-5-2008 - Update 1 | My mood while writing this blog:Tired |
I have been awake since 220am, it is now 4am....needless to say I am tired but cannot sleep! Found out 10 days ago we are expecting again and I am very excited. Although I am dreading the next several weeks as going on past pregnancies I get VERY sick which makes it extremely difficult to manage my full-time work load and the demands of three other children. I am hoping for a smooth sailing first trimester. The symptoms are only mild at the moment and I am managing. I plan on staying as focused and positive as possible - see if power of the mind has any bearing!! I am booking in to see a dietician as I am concerned about gaining weight as I am already 10-15kg overweight. I want to remain as healthy and fit as possible for both our sakes. I am looking forward to my first hospital appointment as that will be at the end of the first trimester which will be a blessing to get past. I have marked each week in my diary and I am in countdown mode. I am taking Blackmores Morning Sickness tablets three times each day, one iron tablet each morning & psyllium husk daily for constipation. Based on my LMP I am now 5w 4d and my symptoms so far are frequent urination, sore breasts, constipation, reflux, extreme fatigue and tiredness and I have become sensitive to smells. I believe my hair stinks despite washing it daily!! I am going to try and get a couple of more hours sleep as I have a busy day ahead. Here is to a sickness free pregnancy!!
