03-6-2009 - I'm PREGNANT!

My mood while writing this blog: Words cannot describe it!

Okay so yesterday I was out to lunch with my mom and really felt I needed a xanax to take me down a bit, so I went home and thought it would be safest to test first as that medication is condraindicated in pregnant woman. So I sit there and am just about ready to grab my bottle when I look at the test....I look again....I look AGAIN....gasp is that a faint pink line?!?!? Took a pic of it and posted it up here as the women here are like having a bagillion friends at the click of a button to give advice and opinions. I got a raving "Yes your pregnant" review.....but I still just couldnt quite believe it.

Yesterday I took 3 more pregnancy tests, one of which came back negative and 2 that came back VERY faint. I had a hard time trying to grasp the idea of that one positive being true....so I went to bed anxiously awaiting that FMU.

Toss turn, toss turn....okay its 5:30 am thats first morning enough me so up I got to pee on the dollar test....NOTHING....okay....squeeze out a little more....a faint faint faint line....grr I was so frustrated I just went back to bed!

Fast foward to 9am....I re-awoke and thought, well ya know i'm just so inbetween in my thoughts I think I will pee on the fancy smancy digital test. So that I did and not even 3 minutes later I looked down and it was staring PREGNANT....no mistakes in interpretation there! So now I cannot stop staring at my test, it is sitting by the monitor as we speak....with the pee guard on dont worry haha! I guess my next step is to make a doctors appointment....wow this happened so fast and even though I was hoping for it as we were actively trying, i did NOT expect it to happen SO SOON!
