Okay so this midwife appt was far from the normal boring ones I am used to having. I finally had my first cervic check and oh my god that hurt so freekin bad!!!! Baby's head is really low, but cervix is still kinda high so they had to really reach in there and then they must have stripped me while in there. I am only 1cm dilated so far. Now I am bleeding quite a lot, which is disturbing after not seeing blood from there for almost 10 months. They are concerned about my BP, so I have to do a 24hr urine collection and then they want to see me again Thurs when they may decide to induce. This is one appt I wish I would not have had to go to alone, though my husband would have freaked out they way I reacted when I got checked. I think I traumatized the whole waiting room with my OWWWW's!! No one said it was supposed to hurt that bad!!!! I am getting a NST on thurs morning as well. I am so freekin scared i am shaking, and I have to sit home alone today until 6! I am so not ready for the pain that is to come. I'm gonna be one of those whiny laboring women who want the epi stat! I am going to go try and take my mind off this now......

AWwwww :( Sorry for the bad experience! I think doctors should have to ask before they sweep. Did you want it? If so then cool....it should get things going soon, if not I'd be mad. I refused my cervical check last week cuz it made me all crampy and bleeding at 38 weeks. It didn't hurt while she was doing it, but afterwards....oewwwww. I'm gunna be a big 'ol baby during labor too, but going to try my hardest not to get any pain meds. Good luck hun! Can't wait to hear all about your lil one :)
