Write a new blog
As I write this, my son is well on his way to turning 1. He will be 11 months old tomorrow and where did this time go? I am reading my pregnancy blogs and I remember so clearly all those moments and they seem like just yesterday. All my fears, questions, thoughts. It is just so amazing what all has happened since May of 2009. Everything in my life has changed since my son was born, in a positive way. To love someone so completely unconditionally. To be able to put someone first, and to be so unselfish, without a thought about it. For both my husband and myself, Lil D is always first and foremost in our lives. His smiles bring so much joy, his tears bring a pang in my heart. It is so rewarding to look over and watch him playing, and he turns and flashes this huge grin. 2010 was a great year. I passed NCLEX, gave birth and became a mom, started my first nursing job, bought a house and watched this beautiful little person grow, change and learn. I cannot wait to see what the next year of his life brings all of us.
To my son, every breath I take I take for you. Every beat of my heart beats for you. You have made my life complete and have brought so much joy to Momma and Daddy. My little star, You shine so bright. You light the way and Light our life. :-)
