29-6-2009 - 33 weeks and 2 days!

My mood while writing this blog:
hot but happy!

6 Weeks and 5 days to go, only 3 weeks and 4 days for work!! woooo!!!!

Hi all,

I hope you are doing great.

I had a lovely weekend, my best friend came over to see me and Steves sister came over too. Before I got pregnant I used to go rock climbing with Steve. Obviously that is not an option at the moment, so Steves sister went climbing with him.

My friend and I went into Cardiff to have a look around the shops. My friend was looking for an outfit to wear at a wedding. We had a lovely time, took it easy - rested whenever I needed to. We had a wonderful lunch sat outside in the sun, it was most enjoyable. I bought Steve a couple of things. We had a yummy BBQ on Saturday night, Steve is really good at making sure everything is cooked properly so I dont get ill. Bless him. On Sunday, we all went to the shops together, we had brekkie in starbucks (decaf for me) and then had a little wonder around. My friend kept buying things for Emily!! she got a top, dress, headband, cup with her name on, slippers..... so spoilt ;)

Sunday afternoon, Steve and I chilled out together. I went up to have a bath and read some of my hypnobirthing book, over an hour later I got out! hehe I love soaking in the bath. The book I have is really interesting. Its basically suggesting that fear makes childbirth more painful. Hmmmmm.

Emily-Rose is doing well, wriggling all around. She seems to be moving rather than kicking, I dont think she has enough room to swing her legs anymore. Haha. (TMI ALERT) I think she might be engaged or getting close, I am finding that I am leaking. I think its urine that I am not controlling properly. Its not much, but I have noticed it. I also have much more discharge, its not smelling or itchy so I am guessing is just the increase you read about. I am certainly noticing an increase in toliet trips again. Fun :) !!! My friend thinks I look like I am carrying low, so that would fit in with Emily dropping down a bit.

Thats about all from me I think, nothing very interesting! hehe Its year end at work so I am a bit quiet at the moment, should be back to normal by Wednesday :) I will catch up with my messages by the end of the week, Ive got 292 to read!!!!

Yea!! Your so close now, how amazing! Your belly pic looks perfect, and if I didn't know you were having and Emily, I would say you looked like you had a baby boy belly! Looks a lot like mine did! Try wearing a thin pad to help soak up any leakage you may have....believe me, the bigger you get, the more you will need that! I remember laughing so hard once and all of a sudden I peed....I couldn't control it! so better to have some protection then none at all!

Just think tomorrow will be July and then you'll be able to say "Next month you'll be meeting Emily" it is crazy, I am so happy!

Oh i am teling you my baby will come early, i keep getting proper braxton hicks, baby has dropped, wee million times a day as well as not being able to wait longer than like 20 minutes to goafter eating, lol think my body is trying to clear out, been like this for 2 weeks now, so i reckon another 2 weeks, come on baby, glad your all well Em will be here before you know it!! x x

Ohhhh Rachel Rachel Rachel.... so excited for you I really am.... you, emma(my angels) and Helen... I feel like you're all coming to the end of your exciting journeys and I'm not gonna have all these blogs to look forward to! Make sure you're getting your rest and drinking LOADS - especially in this weather as being a touch dehydrated makes the old braxton hicks a bit more ooooooooooh!
