10-4-2009 - 38 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: \

So my 30th birthday was yesterday and I was hoping between that and the full moon it would maybe get things going, but alas I am still pregnant....oh well. I have been having alot of pelvic pressure and pain the last 2 weeks or so and at my last appt my dr said that the baby was really low and engaged. She wouldnt check me though which I was kinda dissapointed about. They wont do it until I am 40 weeks. She also said to expect to go late :( Not sure if its to not get my hopes up about going early or what...I am just so excited to have this baby. I feel way more excited having this baby then my first, not sure if its because I know what to expect this time or what?? So far I have most of everything done. The last thing I need to do is get the bassenette together. I keep procrastinating that part for some reason...Even though my due date is so close the actual birth seems so far away. I really just want to find out what we are having a boy or girl??? My 2 yr old son says that he is having a baby sister but her name is brother! Hes so funny. He is getting really excited about this baby too. Hey if you ladies get a chance take a look at my belly pics and let me know if you think boy or girl?? All my friends/family say girl, no one has predidcted boy yet so who knows......take care ladies we are almost there!!!

Happy 30th Birthday!!!! So glad to hear everything is going well. Maybe your baby is waiting on you to put that bassinet together :) Good Luck and blowing lots of labor dust your way!!

Wow, you have so much will power not to find out the sex; or do they not tell you in Canada? haha. Either way, I think you are having a girl and a beautiful one at that!! :)
