03-11-2009 - Baby #3 appointment blog

10/8/09 - I had my first prenatal appointment today and it was wonderful to see my third little gummy bear on the screen, healthy as can be. The heartbeat was strong and the baby was settled into a nice place in my uterus. I feel so blessed! It's kind of dark, but here is a picture of our newest baby, due May 19, 2010!

11/2/09 - I had my second appointment this morning and it was so exciting to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time! My doc had a really hard time finding it and I was getting kind of nervous for a few seconds. Then when she finally found the little bugger it freaked out and swam away! She had to chase it all over the place to finally get a good long listen. Needless to say she thinks little he or she is VERY healthy in there! Haha! The heartrate measured 160 BPM so I think my theory of a girl may be correct. We're keeping this baby a surprise so it will be quite some time before we know for sure. I've gained 1 lb so far...hoping to keep the weight gain to a minimun this time around. Oh, and I'm so excited because my big ultrasound is already scheduled for my next appointment! I truly can't wait to see our little one in more detail!!!

I think the heartrate theory isnt true for me....Bonnie was 134bpm and this baby is 161bpm...so maybe mine will work the opposite? haha

That is great news Amanda. So glad he/she is doing well! I think that is cool that you are going to keep the sex a surprise, since you have one boy and one girl. If I get preggo again, I'd want to know though; I have like a million baby girl outfits (thanks to sister, Aunt, mom, family, etc) and I'd need to know if I needed boy stuff! I think we will try again but not for several months. I don't want to be too old. 39 is coming up in December and my doctor said to me yesterday "don't wait too long". My brother is getting married in July in Maine and I want to be there for it. We shall see! xo

aw how kool!! i cant belive you are having the patients to wait 9 long month to fine out what the new little one is lol i could never do it. you also have to have this one on the 18 not the 19th (the 18th is my daughters birthday lol)

Aww, love the scan pic, glad everything is going great. Nice strong heartbeat you have there I think your theory of a girl is right too.
